Jerry Jones family’s investment group makes deal with software hospitality company TravelNet Solutions

The Jones family’s investment company, Blue Star Innovation Partners, is making a “significant investment” in, a software hospitality company based out of Cottage Grove, Minn. TravelNet customers received an email from CEO Ryan Bailey with the news Tuesday. Bailey wrote that he, along with the rest of the leadership team, will remain in place and that there will be two new board members.

The investment “will help us develop products and services faster, hire more staff and pursue our market goals more aggressively,” Bailey wrote in the email. Financial information regarding the investment was not disclosed, and Blue Star Innovation Partners did not respond toTravelNet sought the investment and will use the funds for product development, professional services and customer service. Blue Star Innovations Partners’ investment is TravelNet’s first investment outside of what it called its “‘friends and family’ capital.”

TravelNet has been around for 20 years and posted $27.5 million in revenue in 2022. The new deal does not change the company’s already existing plans to innovate the lodging part of the hospitality industry.
