Hoefer Welkner, an architecture, planning and design firm, is set to expand into Jacksonville with a 5,500-square-foot office on the Southbank at Riverplace Boulevard.
The Kansas City-based company, opening its third office in Jacksonville, is currently designing over 2.2 million square feet in Florida projects, including 30 in Jacksonville, while operating an office in Dallas. The new office will be led by Trevor Lee, current chairman of the Downtown Development Review Board.
"Our footprint in the Jacksonville area continues to expand so it only made sense that we open an office here," Lee said in a release."We're eager to continue growing throughout the Southeast." The upcoming projects located in Jacksonville include a VA Outpatient Clinic and Domiciliary to be completed in 2023, as well as multiple branch projects for 121 Federal Credit Union.
The company is also working on more than 100,000 square feet worth of projects in North Florida for Baptist Health and two Air Force Base medical facilities outside Panama City and Pensacola.
