The feud between the two groups has been ongoing since 2020.

Sunset Mercantile is a local organization that hosts family-friendly events throughout San Francisco. Started by Angie Petitt and Laura Peschke-Zingler in 2014, the group is responsible for the Inner Sunset flea market, Secondhand Saturdays, ArtScape, the upcoming return of the Cole Valley Fair, and the Outer Sunset farmers market, which is on 37th Avenue between Ortega and Pacheco streets.

Sunset Mercantile, which had taken place between Ortega and Pacheco streets on 37th Avenue, was given the school's blessing to expand a block, between Ortega and Quintara.

Not sure how they expect to revive SF when all the streets are closed and parking gone I personally now do all my shopping/appointments in Marin and know many who do as well $8 bridge toll way cheaper than navigate SF and definitely safer LondonBreed open the streets

There was no feud in 2020. The space was given to be used temporarily for social distancing and when the school was in distance learning. That's no longer the case. The original agreement was that it was temporary. That's the facts.

'St. Ignatius was happy to accommodate the request specifically because Sunset Mercantile “indicated they would go back to their original footprint on the 1900 block of 37th Ave. once COVID-19 distancing regulations ended and school was back in-person.”.
