GTAHomeHunt: This house is within walking distance of Lansdowne TTC station and listed under $1 million for three bedrooms and two baths, but it’s not move-in ready, says realtor Othneil Litchmore.

Location. The house at 580 Lansdowne Ave. is steps away from Lansdowne subway station making it very attractive for a plethora of lifestyles. Along those same lines, many bus routes are within walking distance of the house.

Sporting a large backyard and elementary and high schools only a couple blocks away, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom semi-detached home has the potential of a forever home. “Generally speaking, the reason why these neighbourhoods are as sought after or highly valued is because they’re in proximity to transit,” said Litchmore.

Realtors will often set a low asking price to draw a bidding war, but according to Litchmore that isn’t the case here, the discount for this property comes from the condition of the house.
