Steve Vamos has been chief executive of Xero for four and a half years after taking over the top job from the accounting software company’s founder, Rod Drury, in early 2018.
“You have to be obsessed with the human element. All these things, such as digital transformation, are really human things, because they touch people. “All that means is that you’ve got to generally take it a bit slower than you might want.
