Aligned, a subsidiary of Texas-based Aligned Energy, said its latest Valley expansion will total more than 400 megawatts of power and approximately two million square feet after two land acquisitions.
In September, Aligned acquired a pair of adjacent Deer Valley office buildings at 3151 and 3202 W. Behrend Drive from Griffin Realty Trust. The two acquisitions totaled $93 million in an all-cash deal, according to an affidavit of property value recorded in Maricopa County. “Aligned is focused on meeting the capacity demands of our customers today, while constantly innovating across every aspect of our business to ensure their future data center requirements will be met long term,” Aligned CEOsaid in a statement.
Aligned declined to answer questions about the location and the timeline for construction of the two mega campuses, and issued only the following statement to the Phoenix Business Journal:"These sites are part of the company's land and power acquisition strategy to support organic and customer-driven infrastructure needs."In a previous Business Journal interview,
