The diesel market is in a perfect storm as prices surge and supply dwindles ahead of winter.

Diesel supply in the Northeast, the drought-stricken Mississippi River, and a potential rail strike are contributing to higher fuel demand with calls for federal government intervention to increase supply.

Reserves for diesel this time of year have not been this low since 1951, with the greatest shortfall in the Northeast region including New York and New England. Diesel inventories in the New York/New England markets are facing an acute crisis, down over 50% since last year and at the lowest level since 1990, according to Lipow.

Simple solution. Biden with a stroke of a pen suspends the Jones Act. Now foreign flag vessels can deliver/transport diesel. Problem solved 100%. Amazing when solutions exist yet politicians refuse to take 8 seconds to solve them because of...politics. A disappointed voter

This isn’t an accident, our energy is being intentionally gutted by the current administration

People are concerned about the price of diesel and gasoline--what they dont appreciate is that these are part of a global market. We are exporting over 4 million bbls a day which means other countries are happy to pay outr price and then add 10+ cpg to ship it home
