Ads aimed to boost the platform’s active user base by mimicking or reproducing the often-irreverent copywriting displayed by users on the platform. It ran a commercial during the Oscars in 2018.

By comparison, advertising to promote the hot social-media platform TikTok in the U.S. from January through August totaled $51.6 million, up from $32.7 million in the same months of 2021.

Isn't it a little early to make this sort of judgement?

New management needs to remind advertisers of value/service and also re-woo them with incentive to stay on board. Any client who drops offer incentive to competitor to come on board. Fear of loss is what is fueling. Combat with awareness of GAIN.

The brand was in trouble WAY before Elon.
