that's being developed by Utah-based Overland Group Inc.
The 22.6-acre complex is being developed at the northwest corner of Avondale Boulevard and McDowell Road. The developer plans to break ground on the project on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at 11650 W. McDowell Road. "Over the past decades, the site was used as an alfalfa farm. With the increased demand for housing and retail, Overland saw an opportunity to contribute to the community by creating a space that will be used by all community members," the company said in a statement.
Philip Wurth and Brian Woods of Colliers International in Arizona are representing the office and retail portions of the project. The general contractor is Overland Construction.
