Seagate is cutting vice presidents, engineers and project managers in Silicon Valley.

Seagate Technology Holdings plc is cutting 84 employees in Fremont.

"We will treat those affected by the decision with dignity and respect, and appreciate your support during this difficult time," he said. "Our Fremont facility and team in the Bay Area continue to play an important role as we invest in the mass capacity data solutions driving our future growth," Belloni said in the statement.
