The investment group includes a who's who of San Antonio-area businessmen, athletes and lawmakers.

SAN ANTONIO — The group of investorsincludes local developers, business leaders, a San Antonio Spurs executive and former stars.

The ownership group also includes Spurs legends Manu Ginobili and David Robinson, former San Antonio Mayor and U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry Cisneros, former Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade, Avanzar Interior Technologies CEO Berto Guerra, Operational Technologies Corp. founder Max Navarro and the Cortez family of La Familia Cortez Restaurants.

Ryan Sanders Baseball — owned by the families of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan; his son and CEO, Reid Ryan; and financier and former Houston Astros minority owner Don Sanders — also will own and operate the Missions. The Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, currently play at Nelson Wolff Municipal Stadium on the far West Side.
