This mass layoff in the IT I foresaw withe excessive growth, similar to the early 2000s and th mi 1980s in the 1980s we had the oil shale bust, resulting in long lines of accountants and IT workers at job fairs. In 2007 we had the Great Recession brought on by excess inflation,

They pumped the well dry

In Silicon Valley you can’t make many house payments without a job.

No need to explain, it’s quite obvious. They were to many and to unproductive.

ENSURE SOME ASSURANCE TO EMPLOYEES. THEIR COMMITMENTS, PLANS, FUTURE WILL BE DISTURBED. ADVISE EMPLOYEES TO HAVE SURPLUS, SAVINGS, INVESTMENTS AND REDUCE FUTURE REPAYMENT, FINANCIAL COMMITMENTS TO FACE UNCERTAIN INCOME SOURCES. HIGHER SALARIES PAYMENTS MAY RESULT HIGHER JOB LOSS.

So, you are not condemning these layoffs but get in a bend over layoffs at twitter?

Well isn't this planned along with the interest rate increases. Which we are about to see another on Wednesday 😂🤑

elonmusk was ostracized for the same?

“Laying them”, or “laying them off”? Huge difference.

It is just follow the leader. Bad manager always believe they can improve by firing 10% and rehiring later.

Job losses in Silicon Valley is probably the only good news this recession will bring. The valley has the highest concentration of snob overpaid ultra-woke whiny pro-agenda-2030 fraudsters on Earth.

Remember when the lax work environment and open vacation policy was held up like a high nose against conventional business? Snobby. Guess that didn’t work? Look at the brats it’s produced too.🤷‍♂️

laying?

Elon is showing them all tech companies are significantly over staffed.

Love to see the R voters and D voter stats from this past mid-term.

SaveLibertyUS Because they are woke! They support Socialism and capping freedom of speech! Their ideology and actions! When companies STFU a and stay out of peoples beliefs of personal life, maybe they will thrive! Sell us your product and stay out of our lives! We will win! The woke will lose

Only Musk takes flak-- for downsizing his own company and giving employees the option of a generous severance instead of actually working, lol

“..tech companies are laying thousands of workers.” Maybe “fucking them over” were the words you were looking for?

Cause they hired copy paste clowns, who couldn’t generate any value

What’s New . Sad but True,, you get used till they are Through.,

Wanna rechoose your words there WSJ...

I heard that Twitter also laid off a bunch of people

And It Starts!!
