Victor Gomes has been handed another World Cup appointment making him the first referee from CAF to run the whistle in two games so far
Gomes got his World Cup campaign underway when he ran the rules as world champions France overpowered Australia in Group D. Controversial Senegalese referee Maguette Ndiaye is also yet to be in the middle but has had four games as the fourth official and gets his fifth today when Australia meets Denmark.
