Foshini-owner TFG says it is ready for the competition amid the expected launch of Amazon in SA, also eyeing a potential long-term sales boost, as the US e-commerce giant’s entry should help encourage more consumers to embrace online shopping.

TFG CEO Anthony Thunstrom said on Wednesday the entry of the US group into SA, along with other players such as Chinese online retailer SHEIN, which is already a"significant force in SA", would encourage even more online retail adoption and support TFG’s own online

This doesn't really help as some other company own Game and Makro and see how expensive things are under a US company owned. Same is with Amazon. Bozo see an opportunity under SA high unemployment. It won't benefit our people.
