RingCentral is slashing 50 jobs based at its headquarters at 20 Davis Dr. in Belmont, Martins said in his letter. Although he didn't offer any details on the positions or roles held by those the company is letting go, Martins said their number include some remote workers.

Illumina, meanwhile, is cutting 20 employees based at its location at 200 Lincoln Centre Dr. in Foster City and another four who work at its facility at 25861 Industrial Blvd. in Hayward, according to letters sent to the EDD by Herman Sotomayor Sr., its human resources director. Additionally, its cutting 207 employees in San Diego, including some who are based at its headquarters there, Sotomayor said in his letters.
