It’s all the white mans fault for coming here taking them away from their 547 wandering nomadic tribes with different dialects raping and fighting each other . They miss this previous wonderful dream times way of life . And are drifting back to it again

Young disenfranchised indigenous men. Having lived and worked in such communities. The one thing that needs to change more than anything else is the victim culture.

Just wait until the voice to parliament is assigned to us and this becomes a 'culturally celebrated activity'

Why because the softness towards the ‘mob siblings “ it’s time to do away useless youth sentences. : 10 years old to 16 be tried as Adults Reinforced stronger enforcement with parent’s involvement, if child is caught and parents not looking after then they get charged.

Families of the lawless thugs sit back and watch! Shocking for residents in these towns, completely helpless!

Meanwhile juvenile crime activists are filling the media (especially the Aboriginal Broadcasting Corporation) with garbage including leaving the apprentice criminals on their own for 23 hours - with their televisions. Time to ignore the bleeding heart wets and crack down harder!

They definitively need to defund the police to fix this...

Maybe the Voice lot would like to sort this out first to prove they can make a difference before we vote on promises and more taxpayer funded salaries. Just a thought…

Just start bashing the so and so's

And yet there are people who want the age of criminal responsibility raised to 14. Of course they do, because they're thousands of kilometres away from this in their safe little city bubbles.

The same youth the ABC want kept out of detention?

Once they have a Voice it’ll be all good.

And it’s called racism when you try to fix it.

I really believe people who haven't lived there don't fully understand. After living for 16 years in Broome, youth (and I'm talking 11 & 12 year olds) crime and violence drove me out! At 73 I refuse to live with fear in a fortress 😡🤬

Heres an aerial map of Halls Creek. You can see the employment opportunities. A few that come to mind is greenhouse vegetables poultry (eggs and meat) and fish farming depending on the water availability

Labor’s answer to the problem is to raise the age of criminality, demonise police & corrections, prosecute citizens defending their property & make incarceration an option only for the worst of the worst.

Epidemic throughout WA northwest towns. How does the ABC propose The Voice will fix this? It cannot. LindaBurneyMP JNampijinpa

It’s the same all over regional WA as well, and nobody has the balls to say it’s 99.999% an aboriginal problem so we can move forward and do something about it

Sadly true.

Do you think we could get other voices in the town as to why the kids do this? Any other activities in the town, boredom, poverty, inclusion?

why is youth crime like this here? where are the strong fathers training their children 'in the way they should go'. strong male role models are as important as maternal ones as a society are we underemphasizing the value of strong masculine r-models?
