Shaycore LLC is the contractor slated to renovate the 43,615-square-foot store.

The city has approved a $3.8 million permit to renovate the interior of a Winn-Dixie in Arlington's College Park development.

Contractor Shaycore LLC is slated to renovate 43,615 square feet at the 999 University Blvd. space. It's located between University Boulevard and the Arlington Expressway. Property records show the entire retail area was built in 1953. Dollar General, Advanced Auto Parts and McDonald's are current tenants.

JWB Real Estate Capital, via 903 University LLC, acquired the Town & Country Shopping Center in 2019 for $5 million. The $18 million College Park project calls for more than 80 apartment units and renovating the center's facade, signage and lighting.on Dec. 14, which is its first ground-up building in about a decade. Jacksonville-based Southeastern Grocers also declined to discuss a potential sale of the company last week.
