A Nigerian movie producer, Emmanuel Ayilola, has called on the government to assist and create enabling environment for the entertainment industry to thrive in the country, saying the industry was capable of drastically reducing youth unemployment and generate big revenue for government in Nigeria.

The film producer, who is also a lawyer, noted that there was a need for the establishment of a ministry that would be dealing with entertainment only to properly address the challenges facing the industry.

This is achievable because the industry is big,” he stressed.
