Irvington's Black Acre Brewing to close after nearly 11 years in business

, their downtown Indianapolis taproom, above Greek's Pizzeria. Due to the pandemic, the taproom didn't reopen until March 2021, a year and a half after the fire.

In addition to these substantial challenges, Miller said over the Christmas holidays pipes burst at Black Acre's Bonna Avenue production facility and damaged their reverse osmosis water filtration system. So sad to hear this!!! Great place!!

I’ve been going here or their beer garden at least twice a month for over 3 years, so I’m devastated by this to say the least. It’s the neighborhood spot for all of Irvington. Without it, the only places to get a drink are a couple restaurants. Irvington no longer has a bar.

dang buddy, always enjoyed stopping there after a bike ride on the pennsy.
