Yo! Buy tuna coin! CryptoInfluencers

Karma could be awaiting those that take more for greed than need from mothernature After all she is finite.

pathatic

Gotta be at least a dozen left in the ocean....ya?

Disgusting.

operasingerBB And just what will happen when all the bluefin tuna are extinct They are an extremely important oceanic and Mediterranean predator. Are they good to eat Hell yes. Can they survive overfishing Probably not.

Japan. Wtf?

So gluttonous that they have to eat endangered species to get a buzz. Eat them into extinction. Not that we're any better, but this is really wrong.

Pigs dont care obsolete our planet

Seriously! Does anyone really need to eat a threatened species? What assholes!!

Remember Rapa Nui and Easter Island.

How much for a pound of whale?

wonder what AI thinks of that. this puny human is deflated. the insatiable lust!

I wish I could get that much per pound for my wife...

They should be forced to eat the money instead.

At $250 per piece. YOWZA.

You know half of npr eats vegan and the other, toro.

How do they fit something like that in those little cans? peopleareamazing

Sadly, the Japanese are biggest reason for decimation of whales and other aquatic life. They don’t care that they are going extinct. After that happens, so much for “it’s a cultural thing”.

So at 4,901 per pound roughly how much do they have to sell the servings for to make the money back with a profit? Servings of tuna vary, but if it's 4 per pound, that's around 1,200 per serving just to break even.

I mean I'm an armchair marine biologist but maybe it's not the best idea to eat an endangered species

Magura monopoly

I hope they choke on it.

I feel like I'm getting a glance at what evil looks like. Where is humanity?

What did they threaten it with?

Sad. Lots of mercury, too.

Wonder if I’ll bluefin at the sushiro down the road....

Good grief!

Something smells fishy! That can’t be more than $4727 per pound.

Unfortunately no surprise there. Has anybody seen the documentary “the cove”? It is absolutely heart wrenching

But environmentalists continue to worry, as the species floats ever closer to extinction. Because sushi wasn’t expensive enough already. I love me some maguro, and so do the Japanese.... Damn! What we're the people of Easter Island thinking as they cut down the last tree?
