Reza said he connected with Dr. Edward Zuckerberg, who is a dentist, while pitching a previous small business marketing startup in Miami. Dentists are the type of customer targeted by both the earlier startup and Yobi, which Zuckerberg helps as an advisor.of a $2.3 million seed funding that Yobi raised, Zuckerberg said dentists can be overwhelmed by the demands of managing how they reach people through multiple channels. He believes the startup's app helps with that.

Reza said that he plans to use the seed funds he raised to develop new features, including some using generative AI to automate how small businesses respond to their customers.
