Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital has 40 beds, a gym, courtyards and more.

A Birmingham, Alabama-based health care real estate investment and development company has wrapped up a hospital project in the Phoenix metro area.

The Sanders Trust has completed Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital – Gilbert located in Gilbert. The $33 million hospital is 56,000 square feet, two floors and has 40 private rooms. The facility includes multidisciplinary therapy gymnasiums with the latest therapeutic technologies and a therapeutic courtyard with amenities designed to promote patient ambulation and activity.

The Sanders Trust was selected as the owner and developer. Dignity Health and Lifepoint Health operate the hospital in a joint venture. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital will focus on acute rehabilitation and recovery for patients who suffer from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, amputations and other injuries or disorders.
