The new House of An group restaurant will arrive almost next door to the upcoming Wayfare Tavern from Tyler Florence.

Another renowned restaurateur is heading to the intersection of Battery and Pine streets in the Financial District.at 201 Pine St., I've learned that legendary Euro-Asian fusion spot Crustacean founded by chef Helene An plans to relocate from its original Polk Street perch to spacious new digs under construction at 191 Pine St.

The move is prompted by Crustacean nearing the end of its lease at 1475 Pine St. In the new, larger space the restaurant will also take advantage of an upgraded kitchen. House of An operates operates the original Crustacean in San Francisco, a posh Crustacean outpost in Beverly Hills and the longtime San Francisco spot Thanh Long. In 2021, House of An, led by CEO Elizabeth An, opened a chic Vietnamese bistro and noodle bar, AnQi Shaken & Stirred, inside the Bloomingdale's at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara.
