Jalen Hurts filed the trademark application on Feb. 14, two days after the Eagles' 38-35 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

It is not Hurts' first trademark application. Back in June, heThe quarterback is also credited with being the first to say"It's a Philly Thing" in mid-December, a phrase the Eagles used as the centerpiece for their postseason marketing campaign.

Embiid first filed to trademark the phrase in 2018 for use on shoes. In 2021, however, the U.S. Patent Office denied the application because a CNBC reality show host, Marcus Lemonis, had already registered a “Trust the Process” trademark for clothes.
