Construction work on the Cavite Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange would resume in full swing after a regional court issued a writ of possession on the remaining property needed to pursue the project, the Public Works chief said.

According to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, MPCALA Holdings Inc., operator of CALAX, can finish the segment in"two to three months" after issues involving the 15,650 square meters of land have been cleared.

Maranan also ordered the branch Sheriff to implement the writ of possession issued by the court dated March 4, 2022 without delay. Meanwhile, Bonoan also said the government allotted ₱2 billion for CALAX right-of-way funds this year.
