March 17, 2023, 1:48 PM UTCInternational scientists who examined previously unavailable genetic data from samples collected at a market close to where the first human cases of Covid-19 were detected in China said they found suggestions the pandemic originated from animals, not a lab.
A French biologist spotted the information by chance while scouring the database and shared it with a group of scientists based outside China and looking into the origins of the coronavirus. “The market environmental sampling data published by China CDC is by far the strongest evidence to support animal origins,” Yip told the AP in an email. He was not connected to the new analysis.
But it is also possible that humans might have first brought the virus to the market and infected the raccoon dogs, or that infected humans happened to leave traces of the virus near the animals. He said that if the analysis shows the animal viruses have earlier origins than the ones that infected people, “that’s probably as good evidence as we can expect to get that this was a spillover event in the market.”
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
The twist is that the raccoon dogs actually work at the Wuhan lab
🤡
It’s St Patrick’s Day, not April Fools
I'm calling bulls*it.
Fox wont report this
It doesn’t matter where Covid came from in reality. People have already accepted the explanation they like and few keep an open mind at this point. It’s a sad, really
You are unbelievable
I think if they do a little more research, they'll clearly see the virus originated from lion cobras.
Look at all the TWITTER SCIENTISTS COMMENTING!
Fakenews, fake story lies. Dr death (fauci) and china created the virus. Fact!
- Also, scientists and experts have been proved wrong and been caught lying, throughout the extent of the pandemic, so...
Americans know this is nothing but Chinese propaganda, but if it's true then the international community should immediately demand China be held financially accountable for trillions in economic damage worldwide and what markets should be shut down immediately. If it's true?
Come on we already know that not true
If you find a package of food outside of a grocery store. is it more likely to have 1 - originated from the grocery store 2 - fell off a plane 3 - was dragged in by a wild racoon dog and left there
Which country were the scientists from -who collected- the samples from the market place at that time though…?
Bullshit! Knock it off NBC... no one believes your lies any more.
😂
RUFK?
NBC”news” is Chinese government propaganda that masquerades as American news
You almost had me with people eating bats. Fool me twice...
