IPOH: New Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh should focus on promoting the state's tourism industry, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Deputy Prime Minister said he also hoped that Ab Rauf would be able to attract more investors to the state.

Earlier, Ab Rauf, who is Melaka Umno chairman and Tanjung Bidara assemblyman, was sworn in as the 13th Melaka Chief Minister at the office of Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Dr Mohd Ali Rustam at 3.30pm in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.ALSO READ: "Among the issues are the infrastructure, water supply as well as Internet connectivity in rural areas.
