KUALA LUMPUR: Technology stocks are expected to do well in a market that analysts say should remain mostly positive today.
It said a good performance on Wall Street overnight and a more positive Hang Seng Futures market are also factors that will likely drive the local market. Malacca Securities said the US market is expected to see slightly lower consumer prices in May although core prices will remain “sticky”. Of the active stocks, Revenue earned a sen to 27.5 sen, Sarawak Consolidated inched up half a sen to 28.5 sen and EP Manufacturing grew nine sen to 83.5 sen. However, Sapura Energy and Meta Bright were flat at 3.5 sen and 17 sen respectively.
