BB&T did not protect customer account well and was not accountable to loyal customer. I am wondering how this merger of equals with BB&T will gain trust, respect, and loyal support.

It’s never equals. There is always a Sr and Jr.

Having worked in mortgage capital markets at both banks, I can say this is HUGE banking news. Both have unique cultures though. It will be interesting to see this evolve.
