'It's not about what I do as a magician, but actually showing that magic is there to be found'

Breaking down barriers and following his dream, one Accrington magician is showing what you can do when you follow your heart.

He also had a speech impediment, meaning he didn't often speak and instead, fell in love with activities that he could perfect on his own, starting off with a pack of cards. Living his life as an entertainer, Michael's spent time on cruise ships and in London, saying he's experienced the glitz and glamour that comes with being on stage. But, it was the coronavirus pandemic that changed everything for him.

"If I say the word 'street magic', you probably think of someone who goes around performing on an unsuspecting member of the audience. When I tried to do magic as a teenager and a young adult, there was an initial element of acute scepticism. What sort of magic was I doing? What were my intentions?
