The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the August consumer price index on Wednesday, and the producer price index on Thursday.

U.S. stocks are flat Sunday evening, ahead of the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ consumer price index for August, coming out Wednesday.

Crude oil futures fell 0.6% to $86.96 a barrel. Brent crude, the international standard, fell 0.5% to $90.24 a barrel.
