Shares in Kenmare Resources and Flutter Entertainment, two of Ireland’s blue-chips, dropped sharply on Tuesday as the Iseq index fell by 1.57 per cent.
The all-share index – which features the shares of all companies traded on the Irish stock exchange – dipped to a low of 8,328.15 as of 3.45pm as European markets got off to a rocky start this week.
