A weak Dow Jones Industrial Average doesn't mean member stocks will decline across the board. The 30-stock Dow is coming off of a losing session that saw the key index slip 1.3%, marking its worst session since March. All three major indexes closed lower on Tuesday, with pressure from a still strong labor market coupled with rising bond yields. Tuesday's loss pulled the Dow into negative territory for 2023, with a 0.4% drop for the year.
