Where do you go when you need a moment of solitude? Space Perspective wants it to be grand when you are in space.
The toilet in the International Space Station has been a heavily discussed topic, with even astronauts doing explainers on how they work. The entry of private entities in the space sector has opened up newFlorida-based Space Perspective has a slightly different approach to this desire and intends to ensure that spaceflight does not have to be a fuel-guzzling, smoke-billowing exercise.
"The Space Spa is the one place in the capsule's interior where Explorers will be able to have a moment of solitude," said Isabella Trani, who was involved with the design. "So, it was imperative that it felt like a retreat."
