U.S. stocks opened mostly higher on Wednesday, with only the Dow lagging in the red shortly after the start of cash trading.

Investors attributed the latest Treasury refunding announcement, where the department said it would sell $112 billion in notes and bonds next week, not far out of line with expectations, for helping to reverse premarket losses. Investors are now waiting to hear from Fed Chairman Jerome Powell this afternoon New York time. Here's where the main indexes were trading: S&P 500 up 0.2% at 4,202. Nasdaq Composite up 0.4% at 12,906. Dow off 20 points, or 0.
