Businesses owners in the Co Down town of Downpatrick are getting into their flooded businesses for the first time after two days under water.

The commercial centre was badly affected when the nearby Quoile River overtopped its banks early on Thursday.The fire and rescue service is using high volume pumps to pump water more than 1km away and while water levels have dropped dramatically overnight as a result, it could be some time before the water clears.
