Another person is being treated for gun shot wounds in hospital. It’s understood the incident could be linked to taxi violence but police have not confirmed this, saying investigations are continuing.
Police spokesperson Mavela Masondo says: “It is alleged that the occupants of two cars started shooting at each other in Malvern east until they got to Kensington near Bruma where two men were shot and killed and the other was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.” Masondo says the shooting is suspected to be related to taxi violence as one of the deceased was identified to be a taxi owner.
