The CEP chair clarifies that it may not necessarily be a takeover but purchase of stocks instead.

Several foreign companies, including from Europe, Asia and the Middle East, are keen to acquire a stake in Malaysia Airlines Bhd , the Council of Eminent Persons chairperson Daim Zainuddin said.

“Alhamdulillah, those who are keen to buy MAB stocks are either from Asia, Europe and the Middle East. They have expressed their wish to the government and some have written to me.Daim said the aviation sector is increasingly complex and complicated, and huge funds and expertise are extremely important to grow the business.

“It is okay if others want to buy our stocks, if they want to bring in expertise, then bring it," he said. Daim, however, does not see the need to review the proposed merger of Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia as previously suggested.

Airline Bussiness are profitable !!! But If it’s run by Malaysian management the company is always bankrupt ? Even the nation is almost bankrupt ?

Proton got second life after Geely took over because Geely management is serious about business and do not accept substandard performance. MAS would need that especially to kill the cronyism and substandard performing culture!

Suntikan dana luar negara, Sekadar menjana MAS nyawa kedua or ketiga; Seandai pengurusan dan sikap MAS masih lama, Emas setinggi gunung pun tak berguna!

And don't forget the 238 dead people on board MH370 who are sitting and waiting in the depths of the Indian Ocean for Malaysia Airlines to bring them home.

Then what we waiting for.... Jual lah
