Liverpool's newest entertainment and food destination, Blackstock Market, has opened its doors to the public. The £7m venue includes a comedy club, food market, bars, and entertainment space for live music and sports.

The ECHO has visited the huge venue, on Blackstock Street, to take a look inside the market as it opens its doors to the public. Blackstock Market is a £7m destination made up of a comedy club, food market, bars and entertainment space for live music, sports and more.

The club was quickly selling out every night of the week, and the brothers realised another venue was needed to keep up with demand. In July 2018 they opened a second comedy club, this time in Hardman Street at the iconic Magnet venue. Among the stars who have played Hot Water Comedy are Dave Chappelle, Jason Manford, and John Bishop.

The food market area hosts eight street food vendors including Burgarism, Pattersons, KO Grill, Laros, Paulie’s Pizzeria, North Garden and Deserts by Dre. Paul Blair said: “Blackstock Market is set to become the ultimate destination venue in the city's entertainment and cultural sphere.
