Before the 2016 referendum, when the prospect of Britain voting to leave the EU was but a childish and improbable nightmare, they were only too pleased to rule out a second referendum. After all, why raise the prospect at all when your side is certain to win?

MrTCHarris Carry out the democratic vote, get us out of EU control! My opinion.

MrTCHarris Neither Customs Union nor Common Market 2.0 are satisfactory since neither would assure UK the full decision-making power over important policies of all sorts which it does have now as full voting member of the EU. Safest is to revoke A 50 and reconsider everything.
