Lincolnwood Mayor Jesal Patel delivers his 2024 State of the Village talk May 10 at a Lincolnwood Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
“Restaurants opening isn’t news,” Patel said. “It’s the feedback we got from the restaurants. We’ve received nonstop compliments on everything our staff has done and on their experience here. I’m very proud of the response and feedback.” Patel attributed the favorable feedback from businesses in part to modernizing Lincolnwood’s Community Development Department to offer more streamlined services that are easier to navigate.
Patrick Gallivan, manager of L. Woods Tap and Pine Lodge, said he was impressed with the mayor’s speech. Meanwhile, the village’s first green alley project, funded partially with grant funds, was a huge success and officials hope to continue the program by applying for additional grants, he said.
