Kota Kinabalu: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick called on entrepreneurs in the sports industry to take advantage of the special financing under the Sports Industry Financing Scheme implemented by Bank Rakyat.
“Therefore, I hope that with the existence of SPIS, it will open up more opportunities for those who want to engage in the sports industry or develop existing businesses in this sector,” he said. He congratulated managing director Jason Tham for the opening not only to provide services towards a healthy lifestyle among the people around the Penampang district, but also job opportunities for the locals.Meanwhile, Jason Tham said the centre which opened four months ago now has a membership of over 400 people.
