SAN ANTONIO — A call for a strange odor led to an evacuation at a pharmaceutical company near a hospital on the southeast side Friday morning.

The San Antonio Fire Department received a call about a weird smell at a commercial building on the 3300 block of Research Plaza. Fire officials said they did discover a strange odor but did not find anything toxic or flammable in the building. KENS 5 has brought numerous firsts to South Texas television, including being the first local station with a helicopter, the first with its own Doppler radar and the first to air a local morning news program.
