SAN JOSE — A tech company has opened a new office in San Jose in a job-creating expansion that counters the dreary drumbeat of tech layoffs and space cutbacks in the Bay Area.
The tech company saw this as an opportune moment to add a new facility because more semiconductor manufacturing operations are returning to the United States after a lengthy period of offshore sites. About 200 people are slated to work at the new ISE Labs office and research site in north San Jose.
