The boil water advisory – issued by Pennsylvania American Water on Friday – does not affect anyone who gets their water from Veolia, according to the companies.

42,000 Pennsylvania American Water customers in Cumberland and northern York counties deal with low water pressure or no water service

A water main break prompted the advisory from Pennsylvania American Water on Friday night after a storage tank drained. As of Saturday, the Pennsylvania American Water expects the advisory to last until 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to the company’s incident map.
