This week, the market will debut its new branded merchandise including hats, t-shirts and tote bags for shopping.will demonstrate mozzarella-making techniques. He will repeat the demonstration every other hour until close. He plans to make caprese sandwiches with fresh mozzarella as well as tomatoes and basil from the market.
Fresh mozzarella cheeses, burrata and nearly 200 rare and traditional cheeses are available at his stand inside the market hall.The West Side Market's temporary popup patio becomes a beer garden from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday, August 24.The new, temporary patio will become a beer garden from noon to 5 p.m., with three or four Market Garden Brewery beers on tap. Beer will be $5 for a 12-ounce pour. Given permitting, beer must remain in the patio area.
