Transport Minister, Barbara Creecy has showcased Gauteng’s infrastructure including the Gautrain, ahead of the match between the Springboks and the All Blacks next Saturday.
Creecy embarked on a rail media tour to test the integrated transport rail services ahead of the much-anticipated rugby championship match. Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero, PRASA Group CEO Hishaam Emeran, Gautrain CEO Tshepo Kgobe and Ellis Park Managing Director, Pieter Kruger are some of the people who accompanied the Transport Minister.
Creecy has called on sports lovers to make use of the integrated system when going to FNB Stadium on Saturday. “What we want to make sure is that the 62 000 people are able to have a wonderful experience in the stadium. But most importantly is that when the fun is over they can get home safely. You can catch the Gautrain to Park Station and you can catch the PRASA train from any of the five stations.
