Aintree Blasters and Coatings lost thousands of pounds worth of equipment in the fire

A businessman fears for his young family's financial future after the unit where his company is based burned down. Aintree Blasters and Coatings, run by 27-year-old Taylor Hampson and his business partner Owen, said they lost thousands of pounds worth of equipment in the blaze. The pair said they invested more than £50k into the company but now have nothing after the fire which happened on the night of Saturday, August 24.

' The 27-year-old said he is 'heartbroken' by what's happened and 'can't get head around it'. He added: “We’re a good set of lads, there’s nothing bad about us and all we do is work - and work hard. We work together and we stick together but we’ve just been left in this situation now. “We’ve lost just over £50k, probably more. I’m getting calls for jobs but until the machines are fixed we can’t do anything. We just want to fix our stuff.
