DA leader John Steenhuisen held two meetings on Wednesday with the President in Cape Town where he raised the DA’s concerns over the Bill. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Union Buildings on Friday. In a letter addressed to the President, Gwarube says she remains opposed to the Bill in its current form and has requested the President to refer it back to parliament for reconsideration in terms of section 79 of the Constitution.
