With limited exposure to global standards, subpar customer service culture and inadequate regulatory support, the 2024 EAH Service Excellence Conference seeks to provide actionable insights to tackle pressing challenges faced by Nigeria's service sector, and drive improvement across industries. As the service sector continues to play an important role in economic development, accounting for over 44% of Nigeria's GDP, addressing associated challenges has become imperative.

Babatunde stated that conversations would be tailored around promoting best practices and innovation in service delivery, establishing higher service quality standards, fostering a customer-centric culture among Nigerian businesses, and advocating for policies that support sector growth, skills development and capacity building.
